07:30: Feet on the ground. That was a luxurious sleep. I still woke a few times, but it was a pleasure not to need earplugs. Gonna wash, dress and breakfast now.
08:55: Finished the most exquisite breakfast of oatflakes, yoghurt, sugar puffs and honey, a brown bread roll with marmalade and butter, an orange, another brown bread roll with butter and honey and a two-bag pot of English breakfast tea. And a tiny Apfelstrudl bite. And a glass of water and one of diluted Himbeersaft. And another chapter of book two of the Deptford Trilogy. Packing now. Hope to be on the road before 09:30.

18:24: Set up on egregiously hard ground. Heading to Hofer to to get some leaves and tomatoes for dinner.
18:49: €3.93 for crisps, tomatoes, yoghurt and washed leaves.
19:01: I just saw four crows hassling a bird of prey three times the size of any of them out of their patch.
19:44: Lovely picnic dinner of two salty bread batons with tomatoes and an Emmenthal-style cheese. I also popped 500 grams of tomatoes into my mouth and a medium tub of yoghurt and a box of mixed greens. Quite balanced! No butter. I have three bread sticks for breakfast or lunch tomorrow and a giant packet of salty crisps to replace all of the salt I’ve lost through sweating over the past days and weeks. Gonna washup/recycle now.
