I’m happy and peaceful in Aisling’s company. It’s wonderful to be with her. Earlier, after breakfast, we did some shopping in the Dolac market bying eggs, cheese, butter and bread, so we’re self-suffient in breakfasts for the next few days.
19:33: About to leave in search for dinner. Falafels, maybe, or vinegary salad with fish.1

Later: Very average mezze and below-average falafel at the Turkish place. We were finished dinner by 21:00 but were both too shagged to go back up to the old town to the courtyard where the jazz gig was. Instead, we wandered home and bought some over-priced bits for breakfast in Spar, then lay on the bed, me reading my next novel (Iain M. Banks’ “Consider Phlebas”, the first of the Culture Series novels) and Aisling failed to post pictures to Instagram. Her new phone camera’s colour saturation is off the scale.2 We lay down to sleep at about 23:00.
